The title has to be an an understatement becuase I am nothing if not furiously gratifying myself for the past 4 days, ie
Muahahahhahaha. Needless to say, the past 4 days have been nothing short of heavenly. I do believe that it is the closest to self-actualisation I can ever get.
Anyway, the past few weeks of report-writing have culminated in........Korean food for dinner!

Not sure if you guys know, but Sydney has many many Koreans. My campus is located in a mini-Korean suburb (Lidcombe), and there's a major Korean suburb - Strathfield, which was where we went to eat. The suburbs can be quite markedly different due to the residents. Strathfield was still bustling and Korean youngsters can be seen milling about even at 8.30 pm....whereas Berala (where I stay) is pretty quiet by 7+.
In spite of my well-meaning protests, my roomies insisted on trying the Korean rice wine, which was low in alcohol content but nevertheless potent in vast quatities (it comes in a POT!)...thank goodness I have roomies who are eager drinkers and I managed to escape with only two cups of wine.
But I think all of us are more or less affected by the alcohol...(we are inexperienced eager/uneager drinkers) because one roomie and I eventually found ourselves engaged in a hand fight while waiting for the train.
I think it started with me poking her in the waist to ascertain the existence of the fats she claimed to have. She retaliated.
The fight continued all the way into the train. One of the passengers - an old man- was so intrigued, he came over to sit opposite us and enlightened us on why men are attracted to women in stockings and high-heels. I think he was really a bit too....friendly.
