Hihi.. im here again.. after my friday class and resting awhile.. I realised i always blog on Fri this time.. hee..

Hmmz.. updates.. nothing much lor.. another week has passed.. just that this week i travelled btw boon lay & Suntec for 4 consecutive days.. went to the Global Entrepolis as volunteer interpreter.. B4 u start to go like "wah".. Just to explain.. I was mainly doing.. Nothing.. Supposedly, we are to help the potential Chinese or Indians or Angmohs who needed translation of some sort.. but basically.. none of them needed lor.. either they just stick to their own racial counterparts; approach only those whom they think they can communicate in with the language they know (either English of Chinese); or.. they are effectively bilingual themselves.. we are totally redundant lor..

No wonder they always say govt got too much money.. ( i hope i dun get myself into trouble with the law by saying this) .. EDB actually got like over 100 student interpreters from NUS and NTU lor.. pay us ( yesh its volunteer for FREE one.. but they got reimburse for transportation.. so its "pay" in that sense la) to go Suntec to eat and drink.. i think that was the most meaningful thing i did liao.. they had so much refreshments for the guests i think reli got alot of leftovers gone to waste lor.. oh.. not to mention that wine and beer was served too! heeheee...

But ok la.. i should still mention that its reli a great experience for students like us cos its reli an eye-opener to see all these big bosses interacting and networking.. & also learnt some interesting things from the talks and exhibitions.. not to mention i was totally impressed by this 11-year old indian boy from St Stephens Pri Sch who was one of those few primary school students presenting their very-own science innovation.. He was no different from any of the experienced marketing pple who will come up to u and introduce their new product.. I was so impressed by him that I think he can come and ace my Business Communication module straight-away and beat us all hands-down...

Oh well.. thats a summary of that whole GES thingy la.. tired.. but interesting la.. not to mention.. i get abit of money which can fund for my tennis course which starts today.. ahahaha... yeah... Ok la.. i shld go do some work b4 heading for home..
