Gah! (again)
Firstly, HOW COME SO LITTLE PEOPLE ARE BLOGGING?! HELLO?! HELLO?! HELLO?!
I feel as though this blog has become my personal blog! No! It wasn't meant to be like this!
Oh that was me going cranky as usual over the insignificant stuff.
Anyway, I thought today was a pretty good start to school, never mind that the past week of holdays was really worse than normal school days, with silly reports and FYP. We visited one of the SAMH (Singapore Association for Mental Health) day centres. Really quite amazed and impressed by the variety of programmes they have there. Thinking of volunteering there, especially for outings and such. Anybody interested?
So. After the SAMH visit, me and Jojo went combing around a small area of Toa Payoh in search of good and cheap earrings. Toa Payoh has a lot of cheap bags and stuff. And being the true blue El Cheapo, I bought a bag AND a pair of earring - all for $10!!
Hahaha I was so pleased with myself! :D
I went home, eager to show off my reasonable purchases to my mom. I ripped off the plastic packaging of my new bag and presented it to her.
And she said, "Aiyoh! Wah you really don't how to choose your bags ah? Why you buy this kind of Ah-mah bag?"
Errrrrr. Hello? I'm twenty-one liao leh. You expect me to carry pink bags with hello kitty printed on them ala Cyndi Wang is it?
So I fumed all the way through dinner and managed to calm down by 2210 hours, the time I finished my written work. I put on my new earrings and went out to the living room to show off again.
"Eh? Very auntie leh!"
Arrgh! The worst thing is, I rushed to look at my new earrings in the mirror, and they do look very funny. Gaudy, even. My goodness. I seem to have little fate with nice earring nowadays. Maybe I should just let my earholes close up.
